Overview
Donea is a local-first to-do list for iPhone and iPad. It is designed to work without an account. Your task names, task history, reminders, notes, app language preference, widget snapshots, and backup files are stored on your device.
Task Data
Donea does not require you to create an account. The task and list data you enter is stored locally on your device using Apple system storage. If you export a JSON backup, that file is created only when you choose to export it.
Widgets and Shortcuts
Donea writes a compact local snapshot so widgets and Shortcuts can show your task state. This snapshot stays in the app's local App Group container.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, Donea uses Apple local notifications. Reminder settings are stored on your device.
Advertising
Donea may show ads to support the free app. Before an ad is shown, Donea asks the ad-control API whether the placement is allowed. The app uses a random local device identifier for this ad-control check. This identifier is not your hardware identifier, advertising identifier, contacts, location, or health data.
Ads are rendered by third-party advertising SDKs, including Taku/AnyThink and its configured ad networks. These SDKs may process device, network, app, and ad interaction data to load, measure, limit, and protect ads. Donea does not use this data to create user accounts or sell task data.
Analytics
Donea does not include a general analytics SDK or a separate crash-reporting SDK.
Data Sharing
Donea does not sell your task data. Advertising SDKs may receive data needed to request, display, measure, and prevent abuse of ads.
